Gervase was a Sentinel conversion of a conventional loco and went initially to the KESR at Tenterden before being moved to another site for restoration. Another Sentinel, Dom, went to Tenterden but only as a set of spares for Gervase and so was cut up. A pity, as Dom was rebuilt from the power unit of a narrow gauge Sentinel railcar on Jersey. The body still exists there and the owner intends to restore it subject to obtaining the necessary parts, etc. The former owner of Dom said that he would never have scrapped Dom had he known that the rest of that steam railcar still existed!
